Nexalloy ER5556 aluminum TIG welding rod - highest tensile strength aluminum filler. 1/16" (1.6mm) diameter in 10lb box. Higher manganese, zinc, and magnesium than ER5356 for increased crack resistance and excellent ductility. AWS A5.10, CWB, and ABS certified. Tensile strength: 42,000 psi - among the highest in aluminum fillers. Note: higher Mg content may decrease stress corrosion cracking resistance above 150°F. For 5154, 5254, 5454, 5456 alloys. Melting range: 1065-1175°F. Density: 0.96 lbs/ci. Post-anodizing color: white. 36" rod length.
