Pricing & Product Images

All prices displayed on this website are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Product images and specifications are for illustration purposes only and may not reflect the exact item received. While we make every effort to display accurate pricing and imagery, errors may occur. GM Welding Supplies Inc. reserves the right to cancel any order placed at an incorrect price. Please confirm current pricing and availability at the time of order.

Order Review Process

All orders placed through this website are subject to review. After you submit your order, our team will review it, calculate shipping costs, handling fees, and any applicable tariffs or duties. You will receive a finalized invoice by email with a secure payment link. Payment is not collected until you approve the finalized invoice.

Payment

Payment is processed securely through PayPal after you receive and approve your finalized invoice. All property and goods remain the property of GM Welding Supplies Inc. until paid in full. Interest may accrue on outstanding balances.

Credit Card Surcharges

To keep our sticker prices as low as possible, GM Welding Supplies Inc. passes credit-card processing fees on to the customer at cost, as permitted under Canadian law. A surcharge is applied only when the customer voluntarily selects a credit card as the method of payment on the invoice page:

• Visa / Mastercard credit cards: a 2.9% surcharge is added to the invoice total.
• American Express credit cards: a 3.5% surcharge is added to the invoice total.
• Interac e-Transfer, cash, cheque, wire, debit, and PayPal Balance / linked bank account: no surcharge.

The surcharge is disclosed at checkout and shown as a separate line on your invoice before you pay. You may switch to a no-surcharge method at any time before completing payment.

Tariffs, Duties & Taxes

Orders shipping within Canada are subject to applicable provincial or federal sales tax (typically 13% HST for Ontario delivery). Cross-border orders may be subject to import duties, tariffs, brokerage, and taxes payable by the customer at the time of import. GM Welding Supplies Inc. is not responsible for any delays or additional charges levied by carriers, customs, or brokerage services.

Order Cancellation

An order may be cancelled by the customer at no charge before the finalized invoice is paid. Once payment is completed and the order has been processed for shipment, standard return terms (including the 35% restocking fee and customer-paid return shipping) apply.

Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated based on the size, weight, and destination of your order. GM Welding Supplies Inc. ships Canada-wide. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or customs.

Returns

Returns are subject to a 35% restocking fee, and the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Please see our Return & Refund Policy above for full details.

Limitation of Liability

GM Welding Supplies Inc. shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of products purchased through this website. Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer, not by GM Welding Supplies Inc., unless otherwise stated.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

Information We Collect

When you place an order or create an account, we collect personal information including your name, email address, phone number, and shipping address. If you register a business account we also collect your company name, business address, business email/phone, and (optionally) your GST/HST or Tax ID. This information is necessary to process your order, calculate taxes, and communicate with you about your purchase.

How We Use Your Information

Your personal information is used solely for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your orders, communicating about your orders, providing customer support, sending invoices and receipts, offering related products or promotions (from which you may unsubscribe at any time), and complying with applicable law. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies on this website to keep you signed in, remember your shopping cart, and measure how visitors use our site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to collect anonymized usage information such as pages visited, time on page, referring website, browser, and approximate geographic location. These providers may store data on servers located outside of Canada. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors. Our order-status emails include a small 1×1 pixel that lets us confirm the email was opened; it does not read any content on your device.

Third-Party Service Providers

To operate our business we share only the information necessary with the following categories of service providers, under confidentiality obligations equivalent to our own:

• PayPal — payment processing.
• Shipping carriers (Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, Purolator, DHL, etc.) — for delivery and tracking.
• Google Cloud / Emergent — application hosting and email delivery.
• Manufacturers / suppliers — for drop-shipped items, we share only the shipping address and order details required for fulfillment.

Payment Security

All payments are processed through PayPal's secure payment platform. GM Welding Supplies Inc. does not store or have access to your credit card or banking information.

Data Retention

We retain order records for a minimum of seven (7) years as required by Canadian tax and accounting rules. Account records are retained for the life of your account. You may request the deletion of your account and non-essential personal data by contacting us at gmweldingsuppliesinc@gmail.com; records legally required to be kept (e.g. tax invoices) will be retained until the required period expires.

Your Rights (PIPEDA)

Under PIPEDA you have the right to (1) access the personal information we hold about you, (2) request correction of inaccurate information, (3) withdraw consent to further processing, and (4) file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Children

Our website is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
