Nexalloy ER5356 aluminum TIG welding rod - the best aluminum for saltwater/marine applications. 1/16" (1.6mm) diameter in 10lb box. 5% magnesium content with increased Mg, Ti, Mn levels plus chrome for superior corrosion resistance. AWS A5.10, CWB, and ABS certified. The second most widely used aluminum filler metal. For 5050, 5052, 5083, 5356, 5454, 5456 alloys. Melting range: 1060-1175°F. Density: 0.96 lbs/ci. Tensile strength: 38,000 psi. Post-anodizing color: white. Superior wire surface finish. 36" rod length. Use with 100% Argon.
