Nexalloy ER4043 aluminum TIG welding rod - the most widely used aluminum filler metal. 1/16" (1.6mm) diameter in 10lb box. 5% silicon content provides excellent fluidity and reduced crack sensitivity. AWS A5.10 and CWB certified. Melting range: 1065-1170°F. Density: 0.097 lbs/ci. Recommended for base metals 3003, 3004, 5052, 6061, 6063 and casting alloys 43, 355, 356, 214. Produces smooth, flowing welds with excellent bead appearance. Post-anodizing color: gray. Superior wire surface finish ensures trouble-free welding. 36" rod length. Use with 100% Argon shielding gas.
