Premium E7018 low hydrogen iron powder coated stick electrodes. AWS A5.1 classification. 1/8" (3.2mm) diameter x 14" length - industry's most specified electrode. Low hydrogen for crack-free welds on medium and high carbon steels. AC or DCEP polarity. Smooth, quiet arc with medium penetration and flat to slightly convex bead profile. All-position capability. Required for structural steel per AWS D1.1. Excellent impact toughness at low temperatures. Store in rod oven at 250-300°F. Amperage range: 90-165A. Tensile strength: 70,000 PSI minimum. 10lb hermetically sealed can.
